Many thanks Strix. I had pencilled in doctor/surgeon so was some way to being on the right line of thought.

I put "member of parliment", but i can see where"doctor" fits, so i am now puzzled.

MP had never crossed my mind but there seems to be several answers possible to lots of the questions. I have eleven where I have more than one answer so will soon have to start whittling them down a bit.
