stuff your job where the sun dont shine.
my daughter is 12 wks pregnant . She worked in a nursing home and was still being expected to lift residents in and out of bed and the bath. After several comments off her boss she told not to politely where she could stick her job. She will now have to go on .J.S.A. until she can find another job(big if on that one). What i want to know is will she have to wait until she can get this because she has given her job up of her own accord?

Someone has told her that because shes pregnant and because she felt that she dident feel safe in the job she was doin she should be able to claim straight away???? she has an appointment at the job center next weds so will just have to wait n c.
The best thing your daughter could have done was refuse to lift people up and do anything heavy, it sounds like that nursing home needs shutting down its breaking the law by abusing and putting them selfs and clients at risk, your daughter is better of doing what Rosetta said about going to CAB and seeing where she stands because like others have said you have to wait weeks to claim any money if you have quit a job.
