World's worst eartquake

Please someone answer this by tomorrow as I need a lot of information about the earthquake in what I think is Egypt and syria on july 1201 AD on the 5th.

I need it withing today. Thank you to all who post in a thread as your saving me from a whole lot of trouble.

To the other people who have answered this...I don't think you should judge shadow...firstly, this might not be for homework. Secondly, if it is (I must admit it does look like it) then there might be a reason for not having found it elsewhere on the internet...some thing are really difficult to find. I'm about to leave school and I have to search for so many things which are really hard to find! Also, shadow might be a bit short for time. I have 7 pieces of homework tonight (which I got today...I HAVE to do my homework the day I get it to keep up) and I am supposed to spend 30-40 mins on each one...that's impossible!

When I first started secondary school I was working til 9 at night quite often!

You didn't help shadow much. I know it's too late now but Shadow, in the future, try www.homeworkhigh.com because although giving you your answers would be easier short term, it wouldn't help develop your initiative.

The worst earthquake in history in terms of death toll was in 16th century China (800,000+dead) not Egypt.  The worst in terms of magnitude was in Chile in the 1960's, 9.0 on the Richter scale.

The Middle East earthquake of 1201 is usually cited as having 1.1 million deaths - although how "they" know this I'm not sure.
