Just wondered, most amount of prize xwords anyone had finished in one day or weekend?

Finished 3 today. Yet, my parents gave me their paper + said fill it out in our details + if you win we'll write out cheque to you as you guys need it more than us. So, have writen out 5 crosswords( 2 gk's twice + 1 cryptic from Telegraph) Would have been 6 yet forgot to cut out back page from parents paper this morning. Helped parents to finish the quick one- the only one they attempt. Just wondered, how many prize xwords or puzzles all of you guys enter in one day or weekend? Trying the big X Sudoku at the moment- hope to finish this soon! Warmest wishes to you all, Bea :-)

I'd done 3 on the CluedUp website before between midnight and 1.00 am!!
Concerning your comments to me on your other post
1. Can you see any other email addresses there?
2. Your comment is not even visible until approved, and I wouldn't even do that !!
Whatever you decide, it's not a problem.

Thanks everyone for joining in this discussion. BigDave- will discuss this with husband- if he says it is okay then will put my details on your contact page. Always think that entering puzzles even if there is less chance statistically than winning the lottery is much more satisfying mentally. Besides, like the lottery, you have to be in it to win it. Have won several small prizes + some small cash prizes with various puzzles over the years. Best prize won + remember someone saying had zip chance of winning + won , was tickets to Wimbledon :-) Night night, Aunty Bea :-)
Very rarely do the lottery either JimJools- since it started have only ever purchased 5 tickets in total!! Prefer to enter crosswords, do online competitions + stretch the brain as much as possible. Very good for me especially with my neurological condition. Hubby purchased a Nintendo DS Lite for me with various brain training type games to help me with my memory- memory not good due to neurological condition. Yet, the games have helped big time for sure!! Really enjoyed Professor Leyton and The Curious Village Incident- all those lateral puzzles- fantastic!! Still have my staggering memory lapses + say hot when mean cold + stuff like that, yet, think without it symptoms would be more pronounced. Mind puzzles distract me from the pains that have in body, too :-) Good luck everyone with your entries!! Hugs, Bea :-)
Thanks tazmac25- bless you- Dios te benidga- muchas gracias. Lovely to read your kind comments. Have had this mysterious neurological condition- no doctor or neurologist can fathom what is the matter- for nearly 12 years since the age of 24. Yet, am pretty upbeat most of time as am an optimist, have a strong Christian faith, many friends, a supportive family, great neighbours + a best friend in my husband so am very blessed in many ways.
Norman Cousins- one of my heroes- cured himself of an incurable illness just by positive thinking, humour + vitamins alone. Hobbies like puzzles help, too ;-) Sweet dreams Tazmac :-)

hello beatrice35, i understand what your saying obout the wrong words coming out of your mouth ,i have the same problem but have a brain tumour, thankfully non-cancerous,i was watching football with my son and meant to say 'is that so and so in the goals and i said is that elvis in the goals, also i have a muscle spasm sometimes on my left side, one day i was going over to the oven to put pizza in and i ended up throwing the damn thing up the wall,i just try to keep happy the best i can, take care
SLINKYKATE- bless you Kate :-) Dios te bendiga ;-) Really appreciated your post. Also have said the bizarrist of things + sometimes never even realised it until it was repeated to me( have the words in my head yet they sometimes come out differently in speech) + like you have also had muscle spasms + dropped stuff due to them. Yet, unlke you have not a brain tumour. Thank goodness your brain tumour is non cancerous. Please hold on- hang on in there like a bat. You see, Russel Watson- the voice, singer, he had a brain tumour twice yet now is in really good health + singing again. There is always reason to hope. Like you try to keep happy the best I can. Sometimes though, it is good to have a good cry once in a while- let out all of one's frustrations- cannot be shiny happy people all the time(REM) + important to be balanced emotionally- to be real. Tears occassionaly + large doses of laughter + love ( 2 best medicines Laughter and love) is a good prescription methinks. Big hugs to you SLINKYKATE, Bea :-)
Just posted 10 prize competition puzzles (7GK, 1cyptic, I arroword+ 1 super sudoku) + just finished a little while ago another cryptic x-word to post tomorrow. That is a record for me- 11 in a weekend :-) Just hope all that brain power will be rewarded, too?! Have only evey attempted easy sudokus before so particularly happy that managed to finish sucessfully the super sudoku- checked it twice + no mistakes ( finished just before midnight last night) + would love the 100 book tokens prize as adore reading!! Hope everyone here has had a good weekend so far. Warmest wishes, Bea :-)
