Thank you grasscarp, the answer I'm looking for has only 8 letters in and I was thinking on the line that the name of the essex town would be either 5 or 7 letters long with either the roman numeral for one hundred C or the word Ton added on to it to make the name of a Derbyshire Place, if you understand what I mean
