Thanks Gizmonster and Stockethill. I see you got your 3 answers within 5 minutes,Stockethill, and I've been struggling all evening(and not just this evening).Thanks.
I am also doing this quiz and like you find it very tough. I still have seven to go. I'll let you know if I get any more.
Question Author
Hi Stockethill,I need 7 as well. I've numbered the clues on my sheet and I need 5, 7, 10, 11, 16, 21, and 30. Are those the ones you need as well, perhaps I could help you.
I don't have No.18 But I do have No. 30 which is Titch and Quackers.
Question Author
For No18 I have Peter Andre and Katie Price. Thanks for No 30.
Just solved another one, No. 5 (1 above) Joe Gordon and Sally Logan.
Question Author
Well done, does that mean you still need the same 5 as I do?
Yes.
Question Author
I think No 11 on the sheet is Santa claus and Rudolph
Well done.
Hi doogied, did you get back your quiz for PARTNERS?

What did you think of the answers for No. 7,10 and 21?

I did think " tatties an' herrin' " was a bit of a swizz.

Just wondered what you thought. Stockethill.
Question Author
Hi Stockethill, I'm afraid to say I didn't send in this quiz, I got so fed up with it, usually I do send them off for corrections, if I think the questions are likely to crop up again, but this was more a one-off thing. I do agree tatties an herrin is odd, what were the other 2 you thought strange? I seem to have a lot of quizzes on the go just now, are you doing the one for our club, how does your garden grow? I'm asking as I think you could be local to us and do the same quizzes as me/
No.7 was SANKEY and MOODY (Never heard of them).

NO. 10 was POIRROT and CAPTAIN HASTINGS.

No. 16 was NELSON and LADY HAMILTON.

I'm doing heaps of quizzes just now, but not the one you mention. I have a friend who lives in Fraserburgh and she seems to get plenty of them. There are three of us who help each other. Do you come from the North East as most of my quizzes are from there?
Question Author
Yes,Stockethill, I stay in Maud, whereabouts are you? I never got any of our quizzes left in the Broch to sell as I don't know a shop that would take them, Trail's used to but someone said they had changed hands. D.
I'm from Aberdeen. I'll ask my friend on Sunday where she gets her quizzes from.
At the moment I'm doing, "WHO SAID WHAT" from Fraserburgh.
"IN THE HAIRDRESSER " from Ellon.
"SURNAMES" from Stonehaven.
"GIRL'S NAMES/PLACE NAMES IN SCOTLAND" from Fraserburgh.
"ISLANDS OF SCOTLAND" from Ellon.
"SUPERMARKET CHALLENGE" from Fraserburgh.
"QUESTIONS OF A SPORTING NATURE" from Newburgh.
"WHERE ON EARTH IS THAT" from West Sussex.
"T IS FOR TOWNS TWIXT TEES N TWEED" from Cheshire.
"PLACES IN GREAT BRITAIN"from Staffs.
"LOVE SONGS QUIZ" from Billericay.
Plus I think I have another one lying about somewhere. Are you doing any of these?

Question Author
Hi Stockethill, now I sure had a senior moment there because I should have connected Stockethill to Aberdeen!
I only have 2 of the quizzes that you are doing, the Islands of Scotland which I only bought yesterday, and In the Hairdressers for which I've only got 12 answers so far. I tend to buy quizzes and do as much as I can, then set them aside for a few days hoping for inspiration. Meanwhile if i can help with any of the ones you are stuck with, I'd be pleased to help.
