Medals - WW1
My grandfather was awarded the British Medal, Victory Medal and 1914-1915 Star. However against the first two medals on the Medals Record Card is "Retd (1743 K.R 1912. " Can anyone help me to find out if this means the medals were returned and what 1743 of Kings Regulations was. Many thanks
