Well, cliffyg has certainly got the jump on us this morning - there's probably not too much point in my rabbiting on, everyone knows how the contest goes, but in deference to Aquagility's sportsmanship I'll consider his entry as second place after cliffyg.

I agree a start time is a good idea and 6.30am sounds fine by me. I'm rarely up at that time on a Satuday, so it won't make much difference to my enteries. :-))

Ok, if everyone is happy with a 6.30am start, then I shall post the thread as close to that time as possible, given that the site can be a bit wayward around that time.

Of course, there'll be the odd morning when the crossword hasn't appeared on-line and then we'll just have to wait until an early riser with a dedication to duty [!!] collects a paper and posts the links when they are able.

We can but try !!!
