Box of sweets, 50s/60s
15 Answers
Can anyone put me out of my misery? I've searched all the sweetie pages in vain.
What was the box of brightly coloured sweets in a box like you'd get chocolates or York's fruit jellies in.
Its not Weekend, which someone else suggested.
Driving me up the wall not to remember the name when I can remember the sickly sweetness of the contents of the box.
Mostly it was a granny who was given the box as a present. Squares of some fondant-like sweet. Not coconut ice, though.
All help gratefully received.

Cannot remember the make. ( I remember these because when I had real petite-fors - as in after dinner coffee sweets - I thought they were nothing like what I had as a child!) Might be what you are thinking of and could help further research?
