I'd lost. 4 days later a strange package comes through the door - no wallet but all my stuff, everything down to the recipts and bus tickets, returned BUT no letter of explanation or how they got my address or anything! I phoned the banks, the gym the library but no one knew anything about it... was it either of you????
CiderMonkey you will be rewarded in heaven as you are a little angel its so refreshing to hear about nice honest people in the world than the other evil B******s who wouldn't think twice about going on a spending spree with someone else's cards.
I lost my purse once on a bus and had quite a bit of money in it and was besides myself with worry I then got a phone call to say that some one had handed it in at the bus depot so went to collect it, everything was still in my purse and i was so releived i could of give that person a big kiss!
That was very considerate and honest of you, yes i'd have done the same too.
The way i look at it is 'what comes around goes around' (as i think the saying goes!). there have been a few things ive done similar like helping people out when they are stuck at the roadside with a kaputted car- it always seems to happen the same for you if you act in that way !
