If so, I don't imagine Pauline would be happy with people sending each other scanned copies of it.

It is no copies and I know that

I enter about 30 quizzes a month and would say 25 of these are scanned copies from someone else. Lots of setters now let you have the quiz by email and pay on entry and scanned copies are really just the same

Pauline has already indicated that she wishes entrants to apply by post as she wishes to keep proper records of all sheets issued.
I was fairly certain Pauline had already advised you of this preference smouse!

I would much rather pay for a copy as I very rarely send them back and just do them for fun. If I were to receive a scanned copy, the charity would receive no money from me.

Mine came by return using snail mail with second class stamps both ways.

It's �1 a copy. I sent cheque for �5 for 2 copies. The original post said sae I seem to remember.

I wasnt offering you one squarebear so dont see your problem - I have already sussed that its very rare you manage to do a whole quiz

Pauline clearly explained that her (special needs) daughter was going to maintain the records for this quiz.

Well all I can say after this pathetic moan from you sarumite is that for the first time ever I shall do the quiz - enjoy it and not send it in so who is losing - certainly not me

I havent changed squarebear I still do not see what I did wrong in offering a copy to freebi for her to start till she got her real copy. I WAS NOT OFFERING IT TO ANYONE ELSE

The last 2 dragonfly quizzes I did I got my email from Pauline and then paid afterwards

I have even gone through all the spam posts in case it has gone there.
I think everyone would agree that the admin for this quiz is pretty efficient, even though I say so myself. If one hasn't been sent for some reason...then all I can do is apologise and arrange for one. People who have supported the quiz and sent money in advance for the next one, have been stored on my computer and had them sent out. But clearly sometimes one might have got overlooked, for that I am sorry.
I really value the ongoing support from these people...and in fact from you all.

As to scanning copies and sending them on...is the reason I asked people to make postal applications. The way I looked at it was that for just �1 there is a lot of pleasure to be had from this quiz...and last time I received several 'entries' photocopied or scanned copies with no �1 sent in or a duplicate of a number issued.
Squarebear hit the nail on the head by saying that sending for a copy produces the �1 and much needed funds. This is for charity...and a very worthy one, as most on here are.
Even if you do not complete it Squarebear..still send it in, as there is a prize for simply entering.
My daughter does help me...and she has her system. I didn't mention that she was Special Needs, but most of the regular people on here know that already.
