My wife has grown a 'Pink Lady' Apple Tree from seed, its now two years old, and she is asking, (via me), if anyone knows how long it should take, from seed to fruition.

Many Thanks.

I believe it is around 5 years. But it may not fruit, as most fruit trees are grown on grafted stock you may now be going back to the situation prior to grafting. So it may lack the wherewithal to develop fully.
Waste of time,bin it

Thanks very much, both your answers amount to the same thing, i've passed them on,

And nonomaybe, thanks for the explanation, much appreciated.
To illuminate only pedantically, Lonnie the Pink Lady is a hybrid between Golden Delicious and Lady Williams, both of which are, in turn, hybrids. One can still, occasionally, grow hybrids from seeds, but it's more difficult and as already stated, if the grower were successful it probably wouldn't resemble anything like a Pink Lady...
