I am amazed that there are no questions for this crossword. Either the people who attempt it are all so good that they never need help or the dummies like me see that there are so many unanswered clues that it isn't worth the effort. This is only ny second attempt (we finished it last week) and I am getting nowhere. Definitely beyond the skills of a bear of little brain!

It was a typical Tim Moorey puzzle with some clever clueing.

We were all first timers on Mephisto at some stage so if we are now a bit more experienced and can help then please ask.

Hi Guys: Many thanks for your words of encouragement. Looking at AB today, it seems that there are more questions now. Maybe the people who attempt the Mephisto are more persisitent? I think I am going to have to go back to the way I started with The Times, many,many years ago. Wait for the answers, write them in and try to work out why! I think that 7D is ponce about but I have no idea for 1A, 2D, 5D,22A or 19A. If you could help, I would appreciate it. Sorry, MLN:RUGBY, I didn't follow. Could you enlighten me please?
