KM Links Game - April week 3

Good morning everyone - here we are already at the third week of April - goodness, doesn't time fly !!

So far the new format seems to be meeting with most people's approval and it's very nice to welcome back some old faces

The idea is still to find the matching links with this morning's shaded words, which by the way are -

UNION

but there's no need to rush in with the first thing that comes into your head, instead take time to reflect, consider, whatever and then put in the first thing that came into your head !!!

As usual, no limit on word lengths, the contest stays open till midnight Sunday and then I come along with the all-new scoring system and hopefully distribute lots and lots of points.

It's coming up to launch time, so Good Luck everyone and fingers crossed this doesn't get lost in translation

Actually, I like your ingenious idea very much, so much so that I was thinking along the same lines earlier today - great minds definitely think alike and all that, but given the setup now, there's no reason why I couldn't so from next week, I will !!

It won't upset anyone, cliffyg - perhaps if you post the clues then and I'll post the words with the launch, then everyone really gets a fair shot at the matches.

Please reconsider and put in an entry, too.

That's a brilliant idea, Dustybun. I've often thought that if only I'd known what the clue had been, no way would I have come up with whatever hopeless suggestion I'd made.

And Cliffyg - thanks for volunteering to give us the clues. I'm sure everyone will appreciate it.

thank goodness I can put my head up over the parapet now! Thank you all for not excommunicating me! It was tearinghair that triggered the thought this morning when she reminded me that I had unwitttingly appeared to be an ogre when I am in fact a pussy wabbit!

Thanks cliffyg - I shall appreciate your extra input although, in all honesty, it probably won't make any difference to my scores (or lack thereof!). :0)

Having the clues certainly makes one shy away from what would otherwise be a brilliant suggestion. Which is why I usually wait for the paper so I can see the clues.
