Puzzle Monthly Issue 4 - Giant Crossword

I am stuck on one (5 across) of the three related, un-clued, answer words which (because the other two are "IGUANODON" and "DIPLODOCUS") are all dinasaurs. I have T?A?H?D?N which so far as it goes I think is correct. The "T" is the first letter of "TOME" - weighty book (5 down). The"A" is the first letter of "ABANDON" - leave, maroon (6 down). The "H" is the first letter of "HASTE" - swiftness of motion (7 down). The "D" is the first letter of "DONATE" - give to charity "8 down). The "N" is the first letter of "NICARAGUA" - Central American republic. (9 down). Any suggestion would be most welcome.

Spot on Lie-in-King!. Many thanks for the Wikipedia reference. The name doesn't appear in any of my dictionaries - only the related name "duckbill".
I shall make a note of it for the future.
