I haven't got the puzzle in front of me at the moment, but as I remember, LIVE is put in OB (old boy?) and then RANCH. According to Chambers, Olive Branch means a child reading scripture (I think that was right).
Yes, that's right. OB meant outside broadcast, RANCH was farm and LIVE was (to) last. The whole thing Olive Branch I never heard of until like you thought it could be Olive Branch and looked it up in Chambers.
