Mosquitoes

My friend is going on holiday to Sri Lanka soon. She has always been bitten by mozzies in tropical climes, even though she takes the precautions..'off' spray etc. Can anyone help with suggestions that may help her avoid them, what colours to wear, what to eat etc....

don't eat bananas or pumpkin seeds (like anyone would!) as apparently mozzies like the smell of those after you have eaten them. If she likes Marmite, eat lots of it as mozzies don't like it (sorry random info I know but I normally get bitten loads too and this year on holiday I had Marmite every day, no bananas and I only got bitten once and that was where I hadn't put any repellent,oh forgot to mention you still need that)

Don't wear perfume.  Anything lemony is a deterrent - lemon cologne etc.,  Mosi-Guard seems to be pretty good too

I was told to take a Vitamin B tablet every day from a week before you go on holiday and every day during holiday. Don't know if it was due to this, but I didn't get bitten once.
