Imperial cooker??
My son and his wife are buying a property which has an oil fired range cooker in the Kitchen..it looks just like an aga in fact is exactly the same as my friends aga..but has the name imperial on the front.I have tried to find out about this cooker ..but no luck.I would be grateful for any help. Is Imperial another name that aga use?

I suspect that it may be part of a wide number of brands owned by Aga Foodservice plc. The brands include Aga, Rayburn and the Rangemaster company. Rangemaster itself seems to include Range and Stove cookers.
Until 2001 the Aga brand was owned by the engineering company Glynwed but when they sold it, the new owners seemed to exploit the range cooker into many brands names.
The Imperial brand may be principally targeted at commercial restaurants.
