Not sure I understand exactly what you are looking for, but there is a kind of typewriter known as a golfball, or has a golfball for printing the letters rather than a set of keys. Does this help?

All the answers in the quiz are a game or sport ,you have to find the answer from the clues given, I think 'golf' fits both, but you cannot have the same answer twice so one isn't golf. Hope that makes more sense.
69 Maybe Crown green bowling as theres a crowned eagle I think ?
Hi tballrossi, hope you dont mind me putting my two pen'orth in, but I have golf for no. 69. I dont think it fits as an answer to no.61 as it would have to be golfball, which is not a sport.
I still have rounders for three answers lol so will have to come up with something else for two of them.
what are the clue for those you have rounders as the answer , not doing the quiz ,but like to try and help!
61 is Carriage Driving
Hi teddysbears, I got pencilled in rounders for the following:
Circle in a field
Numbers on 3 corners
They do this in a square circle
All suggestions welcome, answers are sports/games. Answers I have to others vary from card games to olympic events, to hobbies (like plane spotting)Many thanks.
a square circle is a boxing RING
Numbers on three corners could be Triominoes
Thanks squarebear and divlong, both look good answers.
sorry i have not got back to you before, had trouble getting on site .circle could be hockey !
Hi teddysbears, I had thought of hockey, or rounders lol
Circle could also be Polo :-)
thanks divlong, I have polo for another answer.
Could you help with this though, I just found out I have cricket for two answers; the clues are
Remains of burnt wood played for; (ashes, thus cricket)
Score and Score with willow (cricket bats are willow)
any thoughts on these two? Many thanks
I think what you have here is two types of cricket.

The first is "Test Cricket", of which "The Ashes" is a tournament. It is typically a series of matches, each of which can last up to five days.

The second is "Twenty20 Cricket", originally invented for one-day County cricket but now in the news because of the competition in India (and the terrorism it has got caught up in). This version is limited to 20 overs per innings.
Divlong, five stars to you. Many thanks.

WOW I go away for a couple of days and I miss a right good conversation. Sorry guys and gals.
Many thanks to those who answered my post.
Hi tballrossi, hope you got an answer or two from it all.
Have you got 67 Not happy about not being in town or city; or 75 change second letter river between large hills ----.
I have a few question marks with the others but nothing at all for these.
I note that the quiz sheet says that more than one answer per question will no longer be acceptable, at least the ab police wont be able to accuse me of cheating any more lol
Many thanks

Hi, yes I got carriage driving for 61 and kept golf for 69 as I already have crown green bowls for an answer. I already had boxing ring, rounders and twenty20 cricket, I quite like the triominoes so thats in pencil for the time being.

For no 67 I have cross country and for 75 volley ball.
I don't suppose you have anything for no 15 do you? people keep saying train spotting but I am sure thats a hobby.

Thanks
