We are stuck on a few questions on a local quiz.

1) What was the name of a 1950's Ordnance Survey device used to produce maps from aerial photographs until computers superceded it in the 1980's?

2) What film process was first used in 1959?

3) From which country did Sherbet originally come?
(We think this might be Turkey as that is where the word orginates from. Can anyone confirm this?)

4) What was the name given to the main room of an ancient Roman house?
(We think this might be Atrium - again can anyone confirm this?)

5) Which French expression means "At random"?
(We've googled this and come up with the answer "Au Hasard" - is this right?)

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
