I've just started to jet-washing the summerhouse, decking and patio ~ with some of the patio and paths to finish off tomorrow. I don't know about you, but I find jet-washing very addictive and end up jetting anything that's stationary! My dahlias have started shooting and are ready to be planted on. One negative point is that I have "acquired" an active mole. There now starts a battle of wits ~ Man against Mole! Just how big can a mole's brain be?

Tomorrow, I shall need to be ready for the launches of both link games. The first of these should be opened tomorrow at 8.45am by Don Corleone aka deecee131. His four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am for Week 3 of our MM Links Game. However, it will also be the third week for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at an earlier time. Why not chance your arm at both Link Games? They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.

I normally "shut up shop" on MM predictions on Sunday at 7.00pm, however this Sunday we're off for a family gathering and a pub lunch. I hope to be back at the Croft for declaration of the chosen link words and scores at the regular time, but if I am a little late ~ I apologise now!

This weekend, anything could happen.
But until then, Happy Linking!

Oh dear Crofter...they can make a right mess...the moles I mean, not the family. Mind you ...on second thoughts....

Evening all!
I would have thought the shrubbery gang made a bit of a mess of Laneys garden last week too

very quiet again on here Pauline
Hi Jan...think they are all in bed early!
I'm still trying to catch up on the day....thrown into confusion by unscheduled visit to the vet (monstercat had been fighting again; his sister did the same two weeks ago; it's getting to be expensive!)
Should be back on track in time for tomorrow morning's links.
J.
Oh dear tearinghair....do not mention cats and vets!!

My daughters brought home an abandoned kitten in December that is now 7-8 months old, and it is quite ill. Has an immune system disorder! Luckily we had it insured...bill is in excess of 3000 already! It has had blood transfusions, biopsies and several stays at Pet Medical Centres!!!

Hope yours is alright soon!
Hello everyone. just finished my tea !!! It is SO stressful trying to keep the house tidy all the time!! Did my ironing and put it away straight away (not like me at all!!!)
Washing up as soon as there are some dirty pots and not leaving sewing etc. lying around.
Hope I get some viewers tomorrow!!!
Am helping out at our local hospice Solstice walk tomorrow, 7pm until about 2am !!!! There will be 1500 ladies dressed as faries walking around Lichfield (10 miles) and I sell balloons at beginning, then help at feeding station........bananas, cereal bars and bottled water (courtesy of local Waitrose) later. My daughter and Granddaughter are doing the walk with a group of friends but don't know if Granddaughter will complete it as she is only 9 !!!!
not faries........fairies !!!!!
You do get involved in some things Kay!!
Good for you...I'll bet Evie does it..

Oh dear Kay...you will be worn out if you don't sell your house soon! Have you tidied the shrubbery? Washed your water feature?
Gosh Pauline, that's nasty! My twins are also insured, but somehow the cost of each visit seems to come out at just below the excess!

Will be glad to have something else to think about in Links tomorrow.
Our excess was 100 but as it's all the same course of treatment, we are okay.....for now!
This is what she has tearinghair...and they have just started her on treatment in the hope she responds. We will know in the next few weeks if it is working.

Good evening ladies. Just looked in to see who is about tonight. The shrubbery has been quiet the last few weeks
Poor little mite. Don't you just wish they could talk sometimes?
We'll have someone telling us to redirect to a thread in Animals and Nature soon. If I ever (VERY unlikely!) get to set theMM links I shall come up with a cat-related theme and infuriate all those who don't like them!
Note to Crofter: you may wish to take this as an excuse never to let me loose on the Links...
Hi x-ray.....I had Sarumite staying here last week. He went home today....we had a great time.

It has been quiet...we must be due another outing!! :-))

Quiz sheets to mark next week.
There is a rumour that Crofter might ...just might....if we all put pressure on him...compile another Dragonfly. :-))
That would be okay with me tearinghair!
I was not really a cat person until my daughters got their first one about 16 years ago...but they are so much cleverer than you think.

I have felt really sorry for this one, she had a rotten start to her life and now she is so poorly. Just hope the treatment works. Will keep you updated!
Good evening all.

Pauline, not only did you have Sarumite staying, but I also read in yesterdays paper that you have a flourishing witches coven in Stockport!
Sorry there is no good news so far for Mya.
The pond is nearly finished without the water feature I have sent it up to Kay!! Any news from Sarumite?

Hi Pauline.
Of course the Dragonfly Quiz end date is soon. My entry is in, but I know I've got at least one wrong anyway.
Yes - I hope Crofter is persuaded to compile another, his quizzes are so much cleverer than the standard question and answer type quizzes.
