a little confused and don't know how i should be feeling!

HI everyone a little help needed please.

I was dating this guy for about 6 months i think but he wouldn't kiss or have much physical contact (he was quite shy for such a loud and boasting guy!) anyway we split up without much hassle or ill-feeling although i really liked him. he then went on to date one of my close friends and another accuaintance/friend which i wasn't too impressed with!! i then was very confused thinking i still really liked him although we were still good friends i wanted more but put it down to jealousy.
Anyway i'll get to the point he was acting the same way he was towards me before he asked me out the first time but now seems to be in a sort of mood swings between a bit b!tchy and hugging me or being really sweet. i am a little confused about what his point is.
An example of him being b!tchy was at my friends birthday party there were sumo suits and i went against one of my male friends and lost which ended up in a pile up of two other guys and me at the bottom. he then said to me oh look you've finally had a guy on top of you how'd you feel now.
but then the other day he invited me to stay round his house after another party as i can't get home but there will be lots of others there aswell!

any ideas to offer an explanation welcome!! please

Is he Gay, but in denial? This strange need to date lots of women in your immediate circle and the fact he cannot get intimate with you and the "bitchy" comments. Straight men tend not to make bitchy comments.

Everyone teases him and says he is gay sometimes but don't think he really is. if he is hes in denial about it anyway. i just can't help thinking about what he says he won't leave my head!! eventhough i don't want him in there!

HE IS GAY !!!!! and dosen't know how to tell you cos he wants you as a best friend and thats why he comes over all jealous. If you can put your feelings aside and just be his mate he will probably be the most honest and true friend you will ever have. Just tell him you KNOW

Hes scared. My guess he would but he may be intimidated by a physical relationship.

Pressure says in this day and age you have to be "built" and if your dissapointed he may lose you.

Ever thought of asking him.
