Does anyone else remember this and miss it?   It was in a tin and had real strawberries in it and when you added milk, it thickened up into a custardy dessert (goodness only knows what it had in it!)

I loved it as a child and have been searching for something similar ever since - Angel Delight just doesn't hit the spot!  Any suggestions???

I remember it, well I can remember the can, but I can't remember what it tasted like.  I'm not sure what it had in it either!
My grandmother was a leaflet distributor in the 1970's. If there were free samples of anything a lot of them found their way into our cupboards. We had hundreds of tins of this. I have never heard of it with milk added. I have no idea what it was made of  - but we loved it, but unfortunately have seen nothing similar since then.
Yes I remember it very well. It wasnt just strawberries, it came in orange as well. Small pieces of orange with a real yummy taste. PLEASE BRING IT BACK< WE ALL MISS IT.
Did you get anywhere with this? Who made it - can anyone remember? Was it Nestle?

I can remember strawberry, pear and peach / tangerine flavours.

Used to be a real Saturday lunchtime treat!
I loved strawberry sweetheart and have been trying to find out what happened to it for years. I have only just found this site, and had hoped I'd found an answer, but no!
Angel Delight is no replacement.

It was Nestle. I emailed them asking what happened to it. They said it was dropped due to costs. There was no plans to revive it but they passed my email on the marketing dept.
