Sorry we've upset you smouse,but if we're not doing the quiz we don't know that and are answering in good faith - though I did think borrowing a nursery rhyme book would have been a good idea if you couldn't remember them and hadn't practised on the children/grandchildren recently!!

Well, I just think that they don't get the fun out of puzzling over them like the rest of us do - sleepless nights and crying 'Eureka!' in the middle of the supermarket and all that!!

I know what you mean,about stock responses Diane. My father used to say, when asked about a quotation, "Shakespeare or the Bible" every time - and he was usually right!!
