By the time you read this, I shall be well on my way to Seahouses on the Northumbrian Coast with my son, Daniel. We are taking part in a Stag "Do" ~ namely a fishing trip [planned for tomorrow] off the Farne Islands My niece, Andrea, is to marry John next month and I have been designated to stand in as "father of the bride". I've always wanted to go off fishing although I fully expect to suffer a bout of sea-sickness! I have my "pills" to help me through the ordeal.

As for my "garden guest", the score is still mole 1 crofter0 ~ although Mr Mole has upped the ante by beginning to burrow in my lawn area! WWIII has just been declared against The Underworld!

Talking of which, tomorrow will be the last week in the reign of Don Corleone aka deecee131. Unfortunately, Don will be setting off early to umpire a cricket match ~ so he too is unavailable for MM Links duty. However, we are most fortunate in having my very good friend gen2 as a very worthy substitute on such occasions.

Tomorrow, you need to be ready for the launches of both link games. The first of these should be opened tomorrow at 8.45am by gen2 in preparation to declare the four words [set by Don] to be linked. According to normal practice these four words will be declared at 9.00am for the final week of our MM Links Game. However, it will also be the final week for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at an earlier time. Why not chance your arm at both Link Games? They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.

I normally shut up shop on MM predictions on Sunday at 7.00pm, however this Sunday Ill be on my way back to the Croft after calling in to see Mum en route. Once again, we must thank gen2 for also doing the scoring for us. It is such an asset to be able to delegate authority at times like these and know that the job will be done to the highest standard!

This weekend, the Fickle Finger of Fate will pick one of you out for Greatness.
Were you born to be great or will you have greatness thrust upon you?

Until we meet again, Happy Linking!

:o)

Many thanks Gen, shall look forward to it.
I am back!!!! Have been to my brothers...pour me a glass of something please while I catch up!
Oh Laney....you are missed....but I told you today, you have been barred due to unruly behaviour at the AGM!!! :-))
miss meg...are you around?
I have news of our cat.
Evening Pauline, a large glass of white?
What news on Mya ?
-- answer removed --
Hi all, Pauline just ventured into the shubbery, how is the cat?
Of course Laney...you can't get access...Hi miss meg.

I took the cat to the vet for a blood test on Thursday. She told me she had not expected to see her again, and that she could have had a blood clot (common in these cases) affecting a major organ. I was shocked...I think she should have warned us...but she thought she would be better at home.
She took a blood test and rang me tonight to say her results had been faxed, and her blood count had soared back up, and that she was responding to the treatment. The condition can recur, but at least we know she will respond to the medication.

We are all so pleased...she is only 8-9 months old.

A good start to the weekend....

Now where's my wine....
