Mail and Guardian ( South Africa) taken from the Guardian. I normally manage but am really battling with this one. The compiler is "Paul" Thanks again. I will puzzle on, and send in more queries ,probably.

I ask, because I have a friend who does the Guardian on a daily basis, and he doesn't recognise this superb clue either.
I was wondering how to get a copy of it :-)

Unfortunately, I don't have a copy. and it doesn't apear to be available on the internet. The paper is Mail and Guardian July 3 to 9 2009.
i am quite sure i will be submitting more clues tomorrow, as it is tricky.
next time there is a puzzle compiled by "Paul" would you like me to fax it through to you - if so please provide with your fax number.
