Many A Mickle Makes A Muckle
there is a scottish one Many a muckle makes a Mickle but dont ask me what it means
Spodo got my muckles and mickles mixed up (painful)!!!
It means look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves......LOL
:-))
Don't blame you 'cos I don't know what it means, and the red wine is preventing me from being bothered finding out.
A mickle is a small amount
A muckle is a large amount
so....

Lots of small amounts will make a large amount.
:-))
So it doesn't mean that if you can't be bothered using a search engine then someone else will do it for you ,since that's what happens on CB.
Ladyalex dont expect me to be logical after that punch at the club!!
I didn't punch you , did I ?
We more usually say ''Mony a Mickle Maks a Muckle''
Wasn't that a hit for Billy Idol?

(and I meant AB, not CB, last time)
But that is advanced Scottish, gen2.......
ladyalex cant remember Sorry huggles you will be getting loads of e-mails and wondering if we are all mad, WE ARE
so you're saying the more unintelligible the better?
