rats and mice

how can i get rid of rats and mice from my pigeon hut.ihave tryed puting down mice traps.i have caught a few mice this way.but i dont know how to get rid of the rats.could someone please help me with this matter please.it would be a great help if you can.thank you very much for your time

you can buy sonic repellants which work for rats and mice, but I have no idea if the pigeons would be affected by the sound/vibrations as well but might be worth checking out

Sorry to disagree with Jules but I am A pest controle and I assure you if those sonic devices worked I would be out of business! Its unusual to have a problem with mice and rats as they will not normally live together. Go to an agriultural shop or some hardware stores sell it, its called, Neosorexa, buy a large amount, but remember it will kill your pigeons as well so it must be put in an area that the birds cannot get to, you could try putting it in a long pipe or underneath something inside or outside, but remember if you are using these poisons you have a legal obligation to put it somewhere where children or pets cannot get to it, it will kill anything that eats it! lastly put loads of poison down, its no good buying loads and then trying to be economical with it!

It will take about 4-5 days to do the job, if you still have them around buy some more poison.
