another person to ruin a good quiz. What is wrong with working the answers out for yourself? If you can't work it out, have a guess or leave a blank space - whatever, the charity still gets you rentry money doesn't it?

What enjoyment do you get by getting other people to give you answers on a plate?

Well said, Boysinblue! It's heartbreaking when someone must have the answers at any cost,but isn't prepared to work at it. Why do these people send off for quizzes when they can't or won't do them??

I have used this website for exactly the reasons it was set up, i.e. questions and answers.
You last two contributors have neither the right nor authority to make the kinds of comment set out above. You have NOT asked a question, and you certainly have NOT contributed an answer. So, stay away, or I shall request that you be banned.

I am well within my rights to comment - not every thread in Q&P is a question as I'm sure you are aware.

As for your questions, all you (and many others) are doing is ruining the hard work of the quizsetter. If you buy a quiz, why can't you do the hardwork yourself? What enjoyment do you get from getting someone else to give you an answer? What is the point of entering a quiz if you are using someone else's answers? Why do you feel the need to have an answer for every question - having a guess or leaving a blank space is quite painless, and honest as well. I know we are in a recession, but if times are that hard maybe the ABers will have a wip round for you so you don't have to ruin the enjoyment of others. Oh, and this quiz still has more than 4 weeks to go,so plenty of time for you to do some hardwork!

All we are asking is that you don't ruin the hardwork of a quizsetter and don't spoil the fun for those who want to do the hardwork themselves. If you can't answer a question, what is the harm in leaving a blank space - the charity still gets their money - or are you that desperate to win?

Furthermore, you are NOT repeat NOT within your rights to make the comments for which you are noted, not on this QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS site. As you asked, I have already finished this quiz - now that's not supposed to sound big-headed, just a statement of fact. You will no doubt treat it as something different. My answers have ALL come from my own hardwork and I have not been given any answers on a plate. Some of them may well be wrong, but I will live with that - my only interest isi in helping the charity and having a bit of fun along the way in trying to work out the answers myself.

One last thing - perhaps you would be good enough to tell me what enjoyment you get from getting someone else to give you the answers?

Hi, Littleboysin blue - 68 of you - you never stop, do you? Being objectionable, that is. A search on this site shows more than 100 instances of your rudeness and nastiness, which either provokes all kinds of response that you apparently ignore, or, probably the best ploy - people, in general, ignore and forlornly hope that you will go away. It seems that "Matron" has unwisely allowed you out again.
You ask for an answer to a question that I have covered already, wherein I told you that I use any and every reference source at my disposal. If you say that you do not do so as well, I suggest that you are an outright liar. In addition, how many competitions or quizzes have you won this year, with your superlative brain power ? And, why do you trawl the "AnswerBank" site?

And you still have not answered my question - I asked what enjoyment you get from others giving you the answers, not what sources you used.

Yes, I search the internet to help me with my quizzes, but I do not post questions so that someone else will do the hardwork for me - I'm not that desperate. If I win a prize (and it happens very rarely), at least it comes with the knowledge and satisfaction that no one else gave me any answers on a plate. Nowhere in this have I ever claimed to be intelligent, just honest - I do not cheat to get the answers to quizzes. What am I doing on here? Feeling sorry for all the poor desperate souls like yourself who have to get an answer by any means possible - what's wrong with the odd guess or a blank space (I promise it's completely painless) - I know there's an economic downturn, but we are only talking about charity quizzes with very little prize money, so why the need to cheat? I could understand it more if the prize money was life changing.
