As you've probably noticed, the standard of the T&S crossword leaves a lot to be desired. I suspect they are looking for BOLASS, which as we know is an incorrect spelling.

Exactly what I've found over the years. A poor example of a crossword and it's never symetrical.

Ginger..is 30 across in T&S not 'genuine' which makes the word B_E_S_ in the cossword for a weighted rope to bring down a south american cow..
I thought bolas like you,but the missing letter is a killer

Ginger..ignore the last bit,genuine was wrong and the third letter is L making it bolas...plus another s for good luck added by T&S..lol
