morning kiwikid. How many letter for 1a?

botox something
Knowing the number of letters in each case would be helpful.
15a may be scout law (I assume you meant 'boy scouts' not 'boy scots'
13d could be 'give or take' although knowing the number of letters would help
Question Author
yes I agree with scout law but with an error range is 4-2-5 and your answer wouldn't fit in I agree I didn't give a lot of clues usually I can work them out on the internet but this time I'm stuck I also couldn't get 1 D worsted floor covering second word is definitely carpet but ist has me stuck ??U?S??? and have you any idea what is the name of the peasant farming commune 3 letters
But even if you are stuck surely you can tell us the number of letters in each answer.
Peasant farming commune is MIR.
If you re-post please can you use paragraphs or start new lines - it's easier to follow
13d Plus or minus
error range will be PLUS OR MINUS
Brussels Carpet
How many letters in 2d? You have included a '/' but I don't know if that's a typing error.
No more from me until you set out the remaining clues properly and tell us the number of letters in each.

Sorry I will start again
1a Injection of botulinum toxin into the skin.
Yes I had botox and assuming my Rhodes and Almanack is correct the second word would be
?R?S?M???
10A Sanslritic Language again if my ALmanack is correct is
M?R???I
12A two words
??E?N PLATE
14A RARE or poetic word for candlestick or lamp is it LUMMIS
as for dow clues
3D ONE MAKING ENGRAVINGS WITH WOOD assuming Botox is correct it C?L?????H?R
and last 7D
Abnormal growth
????A?L
I was wrong on 19A I had it as HERMIT but your PLus or Minus puts a different slant on things
Abnormal growth- WINDGALL
I think the botox one could be BOTOX PROCEDURE but that would make the S and M wrong
Question Author
I think u are wrong factor on wind gall for a start it has too many letters and wind gall is found on horses . Marathi is the sanskrit language so it musr reas
??T GALL
WINDGALL has too many letters? It has 8 letters. Your original posting said:
"7D abnormal growth 8 letters"
Nutgall is an abnormal growth on a tree, given that it's 7 letters, not 8 as stated in your first post kiwi
Nutgall? I'm not convinced though
Sorry mazie, your answer wasn't there when I started looking up Nutgall. I shouldback my judgement, type first and then check later
How does Botox being correct affect the solution to 3d being C?L?????H?R

Caligrapher fits but I don't see a direct link to wood engraving.

Did you get the rare metal answer?

Botox procedure looks okay but does that make Rhodes and Almanack wrong? Do you want us to check those?
10a Marathi
not a problem factor30 :o)
