OH but the camera adds 10lbs..... We've all heard this, but this is usually said by an overweight person looking back at a video of themselves or holiday snaps and the offending video has usually not got a fisheye or wide-angle lens,so can we assume that the person in question is overweight and this this just a case of denial,or is there ANY SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE that proves that the camera adds 10lbs,also how comes this never seems to work with supermodels or are they even thinner then we ever imagined?? Answers and Thoughts please............

The vast majority of women will adjust it to a point that shows them as fatter than they are and men will typically adust it to show them as thinner.
I think that if you are approaching this from a viewpoint of optics then you are missing the point.
The real issue is how fat or thin people think they are or think that they should be and where they get this idea from.
