I would like to note the following points-some may just mbe me having trouble:
The colour is awful - must be terrible for those with poor sight
If you reply the print is tiny and the question comes up written over the yellow background making it almost impossible to see
I am unable to log in to my profile's questions and find possible replies
I cannot go back to any previous page

Why did it have to change-it seemed perfectly ok before and worked well

The characters down the side seem to serve no purpose and are incredibly annoying

I agree - colour is terrible, and above me as I type, your comment, Spare Ed, is spread across the yellow as well as the white box, so not easy to read and messy. I found My Profile after several attempts because pressing on My Profile brought up a list of my previously asked questions (I don't ask very often so most were irrelevant and, in any case I didn't want to view them) and at first I failed to notice the poorly coloured tabs above these questions for accessing questions I'd asked, thread I'd viewed and the 'my profile' I was trying to reach. It was much better to actually reach My Profile when pressing on it and then to navigate to other areas of interest to me, such as previously asked or answered questions.

There has been a discussion amongst many (most?) of your regulars in another place. The consensus is that the site was very much better before! I have heard no plaudits except a slight improvement in speed.

I agree with all the comments that have been made. It took me a wee while to get used to Answerbank the way it was. Certain changes suggested by ABers were sensible but why change for the sake of change. I may be elderly but I'm not averse to change.

Forgot to say i'm not very keen on the characters at the side. What do they stand for,please?

i have windows xp and ie8 and dont seam to have much problems
as i type this the letters are a bit small, thats about it

an awful lot of questions seem to be duplicated. Is there a delay in adding them, so people think they have not worked?
Agree with previous about silly orange and pink eggs - waste of space.

Firstly thank you for seeking fedback
1. I like the wider central panel
2. I suspect the 'characters'' on the left are to enble folk to attach a picture of themselves in due course - unneceassry in my opinion but some may like it
3. If the changes incorporate faster processing as suggested by some then well done ( I havn't noticed )
4. have you improved the search facility within AB that is often unreliable ? I step outsde AB and use google to reach in as it were but sometimes this does not allways enable one to subsequently access a specfic question
5. do you intend improving your internal web page referencing as broswer back page button processing does not allways refence correctly ?
6. introducing artificial time restrictions on when questions can be entered vis-a-vis publiction dates as mooted elsewhere is unworkable, diffilcut to police and unneccessary
7. As also suggested on another thread I would much prefer Crosswords to be a top level topic only and not a subsection of Q&P ( as people ignore guidelines and use both entry points which means you have to check two streams which is irritating and often duplicated Q&A's )
8. please reinstate the previous page scroll (one page at a time) > >> fetaure rather thah having to actually having to select the relative 'page number'
The last two points are the most important to me.
You can't impose too rigid a structure and wahetever requests you get remember KIS (Keep It Simple) and you will of course never please all of us.

It would help to have NEXT page number as opposed to last. Not interested in what happened 8000 pages ago, but for us oldies trying to read thte small print to find out what page we are on is tricky. Much easier to click next.
