Fletcher\'s goal?

How come Fletcher got credited with two yesterday? His first one was just missing the far post until it brushed Barry and went in the corner. Great performance from Man U though, and they should have been out of sight long before any injury time contoversy, so I\'m mystified why some City fans on the radio this morning thought they did well - no ambition, 30% possession, 1 corner, and three shots on target, all of which went in, which is pretty remarkable in itself.

Its a good job City didn't score again, or the match could have gone on for hours until the referee was happy with the result.
And no I am not a C ity or Liverpool supporter.

He surely caused the goal, but his initiial effort was missing by more than tevez's was (that hit hit the post) Rio Ferdinand is wrongly credited with a goal for England against Sweden from a few years back too, he headed one back across the 6 yard box and it went in off a defender. If no one had been there it would have gone out for a throw in. getting pedantic I suppose, but still, I don't think you should be credited with a goal if you miss the target.
