FACTS ABOUT PENGUINS









Did you ever wonder why there are no dead penguins on the ice in Antarctica - where do they go?


Wonder no more!!!



It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird which lives an extremely ordered and complex life.


The penguin is very committed to its family and will mate for life,

as well as maintaining a form of compassionate contact with its offspring throughout its life.


If a penguin is found dead on the ice surface,

other members of the family and social circle have been known to dig holes in the ice,

using their vestigial wings and beaks, until the hole is deep enough for the dead bird to be rolled into and buried.


The male penguins then gather in a circle around the fresh grave and sing:







"Freeze a jolly good fellow."





"Then they kick him in the ice hole.

I had one very profound email about a speech an actor made in America, it was a "Why is it" speech, about racism toward white people, it was also very true, but I wouldn't dare post it because of the PC ranters!!!!
Bobbi....so I will stick with the mundane jokes..lol

Spent many a good time in Newcastle area when I was in MN i.e Jarrow, Dunston, Gateshead, North and South Shields etc......but as you say never saw any Penguins either, but it does get damn cold in Geordieland. Fortunately there were 'Hot' women to warm you up ! He He

I am up the road from Gateshead red, yes it does get cold, you should see the lasses on a Friday Night out in the Bigg Market...lol
I tell yer, they will suffer in later life, nowt on at all!!!!!
