Re asking questions

Thank you jumbuck and anotherview for your support. I do try each week and usually can do a lot of it but it sometimes takes me ages to fill any in, so I 've found this site invaluable to just get me started at times. I'm sorry if I've upset some people by just asking for a few answers but I appreciate help from those that can work clues out better than me. Thank You

There's one or two people who visit this site and seem to do nothing but criticise others for asking for answers, so try to ignore them - it makes you wonder why they bother coming here at all. Tthe rest of us are happy to try to help, so carry on and best wishes.

One or two of us DO visit this site to help out people who are struggling. All I say is have a go before prematurely asking for answers rather than assistance! ;-)

imho the only people deserving of any criticism are those who ask for the answers to lots of clues - this can be 20 or more either in a single question or split into a couple of threads - not just a couple, and it doesn't matter whether there's a deadline or not, they are the ones who don't seem to have made any effort.

But if other people are happy to provide answers then the simplest action is to not contribue to those threads rather than posting an opinion which, frankly, doesn't matter to anyone else in Q&P. Maybe in the real world you're used to getting your own way; here you are just another grunt.
