For my granddaughter....
A rectangle tile measures 20 x 30cm.

How many tiles are needed to cover an area of 4.5m2

tile area = 0.2m x 0.3m = 0.06m^2

therefor number required = 4.5 / 0.06 = 75
0.2 x 0.3 = 0.06 sq m

4.5 divided by 0.06 = 75 tiles
