MM and KM Links November 2009 [Week 2]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

I quite enjoyed last week, when I could get more involved in the MM Links Game. After three years of only keeping scores, it proved a pleasant change. This week will be my second round as setter and I’m hoping to keep up the flow of points! After looking after 9-month-old Harry for a 14-hour overnight stay last month, we were “asked” to look after him today and tomorrow ~ 28 hours in all! Who ever said that Grandparents are just unpaid baby sitters?

I can’t stay long as Harry is still quite active ~ and will be for another three hours! Suffice it to say that some of you need to gird up your loins a little higher and really try to engage in bloody battle. My posting should open at 8.45am and the four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am tomorrow, when MM Links kicks off in earnest. Remember ~ early hits gain bonus points!

it's horrible here, raining and windy. Am going to bed in a min as I don't feel too good. There is a stomach bug going around and am just hoping I haven't got it!!! Feel a bit sicky.............and it's very windy here LOL

Hello Pauline. Unfortunately not. We've had a new computer system installed at work and to say my work has doubled would be an understatement, so when I've got home I just haven't had the energy to try and come up with new questions for a CIN quiz.

What a shame Magyar...was looking forward to it! Maybe next year?

I hope so. I did contemplate maybe using a previous year's quiz which had only been sold locally, and only advertising it through here, but as I have e-mailed it to a few people to help their fund raising efforts, thought I'd better not.
If I start compiling a new one now, hopefully it'll be ready for next year.

I am sure next year's will be worth waiting for. Let's hope things settle down for you at work.

Thanks Pauline. I'll try to make it the best yet, although it can't compare to crofter's. Talking of which, when is the next one out?

Crofter is preparing one Magyar I believe...and he was hoping to launch it soon, but I am not available to launch it for a little while...but it will appear hopefully.
