I know I'm way late but noticed your query wasn't really answered.
Firstly Raids is a different clue - not part of MAJESTIC
For 18a - cryptic the clue means Imposing and regal ( the inside of lARGELy ) answer - STATELy
Have you got Don's other site for for S Mirror & M on Sunday etc. Should be DONSAROUND COMPETITION ENTRIES but it isn't working properly?
