Just before 8 pm tonight on Planet Rock, I heard Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb, but I didn't hear the beginning of the track and as I thought the sound so perfect I thought it was a studio album, but after the glorius Dave Gilmour solo there was applause, so I guess it's a live album?...which one? Ta Muchly.

Not sure Woodelf but could it be Pulse?

Me neither Polly, but I'll have a look and listen somewhere, Thanks for answering.

Polly, you're probably/hopefully right! A reviewer of Pulse on amazon mentions the extended Gilmour solo on Numb and also that it's live, so Thanks again.
Its a great album, the light show is brilliant ,as is the music of course.
I dont know which one was played but the version on Delicate Sound of Thunder always sends a shiver down my spine.
I personally think that the best guitar solo for Comfortably Numb comes from the Serious Intermission Cd Bootleg and is better than the Live Pulse version that they released. It also has a better live version of Sorrow too in my opinion.
