b=√(a/ed)
so b=√a √(1/ed)

b/√(1/ed)=√a

a= (b/√(1/ed))²

a=b²ed
Reply to the thread if you don't understand any of those steps and I'll explain further- just copying down what I've written won't help help you next time - understanding it will
I think it's easier to square both sides immediately to get:
b squared=a/ed
Multiply both sides by ed and get:
a=b squared times ed
Square 'root', by the way, not square 'route'.

Just noticed an error in line 4 of your solution: the b should be squared!
