Local logo quiz

I know logos are difficult if you can't see them but here goes. Does anyone please recognise a logo which is a capital G inside an oval? The other one is a black ribbon on a gold background (the ribbon is like the aids campaigne ribbon but upside down). I live in hope! Many thanks for your time.
