sending copy of passport just to get VIP concert ticket?
5 Answers
Hi I am going VIP at a concert £175 and a meet and greet. They said that I would need ID on the day they then sent me a form which asks for name, ID type, passprt number, date of birth all things they can compare with the passord you show up with along with the fact the photo looks like you!
But with the form they have made the added request that they have a copy of the ID as well. It all seems I little over the top the type of concert. Surely if the VIP management people who are going on tour need all these copy ID for every VIP (at least 50 per venue) at would be a lot of paperwork. And all the copy Ids for other concert nights are left in the hotel room owww very safe.
I really want to go to the concert but they say failure to supply will reslut in you not attending, I am just thinking it is all over the top and esp as I am having to apply for a new passport as well if those details of copied or stollen without me knowing I might have trouble for the next 10 years of the passports life.
What do you think, is this normal?
