When I was fifteen I read a book at school that is a part of the teen historical romance genre, it was one in a collection of books produced by one publisher, like point romance, there was also a horror collection. I can't remember the name of the novel, the author or the publisher. The title features the word "rose", and it is based around the jacobite rebellion in Scotland and Bonnie Prince Charlie. The main character is sent to scotland to live with relatives, she gets caught between her cousin (might be called Jamie - who has flaming red hair) and a young captain in the english army who is supposed to be her enemy. Please can someone put me out of my misery. Parts of the plot include; her cousin becoming injured thus she diguises him as a woman, the family hide the cousin in a hidden room.
