Dear Mr. Editor,

I wrote to you a while ago suggesting that you might consider splitting the Quizzes & Puzzles topic into Crosswords, Riddles, Quiz Adverts and Quiz Queries. You said that you would give it a thought.

Because your site has become so popular, Quiz Adverts are disappearing so quickly, sandwiched between all the queries, and to advertise the quiz I am currently selling, I have to keep re-posting it.

I think you misunderstand the purpose of AB,it is NOT for advertising.
Any questions that seem to be adverts will be reported and removed.
I would think that there are already enough categories in Quizes and Puzzles?

Have you considered that your question may be being removed by AB Ed because it is an advertisement?

There are many quizzes advertised (if you can call it that) on this site & have been for several years. It would be a great shame if this facility were to be curtailed because it seems to me to be a popular way to make the many AB quizzers aware of any new charity quizzes to be had. Many of the quiz queries refer to those very quizzes that have been purchased via information on this site.

You mean you get answers for quizzes,that you then sell elsewhere?
I think this would be OK.
Of course I am not AB Ed,but I can see no objection to this.

Hi Mr Veritas. You misunderstood me. All the quizzes I sell are compiled by me, and me alone, & I certainly don't pinch the clues or questions from anyone else.

What I meant to say was that during the course of a current quiz, I notice AB postings from people who are obviously working on my quiz & are asking other ABers for help in solving certain clues.

There was a very good website that advertised all the Quizzes. I can't remember the address but I'm sure someone that does more than one quiz a month would.
