Any help most welcome!!! Are the two cities London and Westminster? Is the bridge London Bridge?

I think the cities are City of London and Westminster but then London Bridge doesn't work. Also puzzled about reference to 1858.

I thought london and westminster too, but i'm equally puzzled....as far as i can see there was no electric light around on the streets for another two decades - first seems to have been along Holborn in 1883. Huh?

Yes - 1858 doesn't seem right. I'm not convinced it's Westminster Bridge either. Does anyone understand the reference to a lamp?
