1 There was a character in the 1970s sitcom " Doctor in the House " played by Robin Nedwell.

Desert Island discs WAS first broadcast in 1942, but whether the guest with the bird name was on the show in 1942, it may take some serious Googling !

Is this from the RSPB mag ? If so, what's the closing date - I could get a copy from a friend who's in the RSPB.
