Much that I like to see snow on a beautiful Christmas morning,I much prefer the summer when it's lovely and warm.

'Tis nice to see a snow during the festive season though!! The snow hasn't quite melted in our back garden yet because some of it lies in the shade. Not enough snow to make a snowman though!!
I made two snowmen last time it snowed!! In fact I made a snowman and a .....ahem.....snow-woman!!
What a nice pair they made.......and my young nephew helped me make a snowman quite a few years ago!!
:)
The only time I really HATE the snow is when I'm driving through it.Mind you,I haven't as yet driven through it this year.......but I have driven on a slippy and icy road....and that was a bit scary!! Luckily,I managed to regain control of my car,as I have been driving since 1991. I passed my test first time, and I haven't had one point on my driving licence since then.
Having said that,I did slightly skid on the road today, and I hit the kerb. But fortunately I wasn't going very fast, and I didn't realise until after that I lost my wheel alloy cover. Doh!! But,after coming back the same way for lunch,I did manage to find the alloy thank goodness.......phew!! :)
yes my hubby is stuck in Sweden
Most of the snow has now melted in here in London.

But it was lovely whilst it lasted, it looked like a winter wonderland.

imhotep, the snow whilst lovely can be treacherous and I am glad that you are okay. My heart goes out to all the homeless people in this weather. That is why we donate the money that we would have spent on cards to Shelter. It beneefits the likes of _NOK_ so I am sure he is appreciative.

Gosh, it is almost like _NOK_ and No Mark have nothing else to do except wait for me to post. Well, that I suppose it adds excitement after being to Iceland, or while trying to make a fire out of old Christmas Cards.
Yes. So knackered delivering in ice and snow I'm too exhausted to go out tonight as planned. I hate snow. I hate ice. I hate Christmas.
Thanks Charisse for your kind thoughts, and I must agree with your comment earlier about the homeless in our nation.
They really do need a mention this Christmas.Good on you !!

Happy Christmas poodicat xx I do hope that you enjoy your Christmas, even though you are working. :0]. I shall bid you goodnight, I have enjoyed some Bollinger so shall raise a glass to you xx Bye!
-- answer removed --
Bollinger? Kerry Katona and Katie Price, join the club....

If you ever acquire a more discerning palate, try Taittinger, Perrier Jouet La Belle Epoque or maybe a bottle of Veuve.

PMSL, @ No Mark. No dear. I am sure you will find someone more deserving of your leftovers. If there are any. I heard you put it away big style. I assumed they were talking about food. Happy Christmas. :0] I really must go count my bedrooms.
Shouldn't take you very long...
Oh btw... I'm off to the Reef in Feb... it's all booked !! :-))))
