I have to think of 5 predisposing enviromental factors that affect humans. I can only think of 3!
1 ommisions from cars (breathing problems)
2 ava radiation from the sun (skin cancer)
3 the chernobyl disaster (cancer etc)
The word "enviromental" is throwing me cos emmisions from cars isnt really enviromental is it??? please can anyone push me in the right direction?
Climate? (in all aspects e.g. sun (which you have) but also wind, rain/monsoon, snow etc). I think you're right about cars - we humans are causing the emissions - otherwise you could have all the effects of rainforest destruction and its impact on oxygen - but we lovely humans are causing that too. I think you have to stick to natural factors. Is this for an essay?
could the lack of sunlight which causes some people to suffer (SAD) seasonal affected disorder
also the moon which affects tides spring neap tides etc affect shipping and humans
just a thought
good luck
Have you got the sea? The "good" bits like safe currents that allow people to fish (for their own food and trade), also the aspects that create natural harbours, again for trade and travel. Then the tricky bits that pose danger, like wild currents (wind comes in here too) - then tsunamis etc - and however clever we think we are, we can't beat the sea.
