I had not heard of Mr Naddor or seen any of his crosswords, and wonder why the Answerbank Spare Ed decided to post the news.
The recent deaths of Crispa, Janus & Taupi from the Guardian seemed to pass without any comment, despite their popularity with Abankers.

A sad story, yes, but I agree with K about the loss of many British setters. It's a shame that their passing was scarcely acknowledged.

Afternoon everyone,
I apologise for my ignorance of British setters. We are thinking of ways to try and make this section better for you all. To start with we're trying to get into the mind of the crossword addict and this is something which I had found today.
I will do my research on Crispa, Janus and Taupi and hopefully gain further insight.
My main reason for posting was the story's backbone of solace in the joy of puzzle-solving.
